It's been a long time since I released a movie and the last one was somewhat... bad! That's why I tried really hard this time and this is the result:

DOWNLOAD
counting bodies.mkv (eve-files)

570MB

STREAM
counting bodies

(damagedealer.com - Thank you!)

I tried to select only the very best of all my scenes and still ended up with a 26minute monster. Probably that only matches the recent trend to longer movies.

What you will see:
T1 Cruisers going mad
(A bit of Vigil and one scene with a rigged Dominix!)
0.0 PVP only. All around the Universe.

What you will not see:
Rigs
Boosters
Any kind of implants except a few +3s
Gang members

This is the first time I tried to do some editing. Finally I figured out what keyframes are all about and my file grew from one video track, one comment track and one audio track to something like 8 different ones. However, I had huge problems rendering it properly as my program decided to crash all the time at different points of the process. I finally ended up with a 1,4GB large *avi file in some strange codec which I had to convert into a MKV. The text is a bit blurry, but you can still read everything without problems.
Additionally, I am recording in 1920*1200 which is probably too big for the most, so I decided to scale it down to 1600*1000. Again, I haven't figured how to do it best so the scaling resulted in a slight loss of quality as well. Mostly recognizable in missing pixels in the small fonts.

Don't expect something too fancy from my editing skills. This movie is not the epic-kind of Battleships traring down whole fleets. It's meant to be more comedy and probably a bit hilarious. I tried to back up that part with the editing, the comments and a even a bit with the music.

Still I must say that I am very contented with the result! I hope you enjoy it.

(this movie contains a Disturbed track. Only a few seconds though! I promise!)

Earlier probably mentionable releases:
YASASGPVPMWCSBAAITOERPVPMETHBRWPM - Yet Another Solo And Small Gang PVP-Movie Which Contains Some Blasterthron Action And Is The Only Eve-Related PVP-Movie Ever That Has Been Released With Proper Music (Megathron, Hyperion, Rupture)

editedit: the footage is awesome, the only criticism is the speed and you go a bit over the top with effects (zooms and text movements) Very Happy

That was some pretty brilliant piloting on display here my friend. I shall look forward to future releases. Seriously, many of the so called video veterans on these boards could do well to take notes.

Not quite sure if I got you right. Actually all fights are sped up with at least 2x, some are even trice as fast. Or... was it too fast in your opinion?
If it appears slow to you, it might be due to the mkv-encoding. Decoding Mkvs take alot resources, especially in the VLC player. At least that's what I have observed.
If you are experiencing slow speeds, stuttering or errors, try downloading this codec pack (CCCP) as originally promoted by Dark Shikari. (If you bother, that is)Wink

Thanks for the comments so far.
