Not really because they'd still be risking losing a fight and being out of the competition. With the way it is, it's whoever has the most time when the competition starts - which is why I suggested a grace period that starts after the first person gets 10 kills - and whoever got the most/best kills after that wins.

Grace period sounds a bit iffy, why not just up the kill requirement a bit. Say 20 kills of note. So no ganking industrials, or goin after lone cruisers and frigates in a battleship. we could let a thrid party judge the suitability of each km.

I think maybe the first person to get 10 kills is fine. Doesnt have to go for a whole week.

Setting up the corporation as soon as server is up. Will be declaring war on the alliance immediately so that targets are available as soon as the competition starts.

Will be posting a finalized set of rules and conditions that wont be subject to change prior to or during the competition.

Any adjustments required by the pilots involved or any suggestions need to be made before the final rules are in place.

So in short.

(a) 1 week of combat starting after DT 2009.05.03.
(b) First person to get 10 verified fraps kills gets 2 billion isk.
(c) An additional prize of a navy mega with 3 x t2 trimarks is to be awarded to the person who gets the most kills in total (other then the winner of the 2 billion)
(d) Kills must be made solo and must be different persons and ships must be of value (t1 frig shuttle or destroyer you must get pod to qualify).
(e) alts are fine for scouting, probing etc and can be fleeted
(f) no discussion of targets with corp
(g) no communications utilities to be run (hard to police but if you get caught no kill)
(h) kills must have joined alliance prior to alliance name becoming known
(i) you must Fraps or similiar and keep a online journal, just brief description of how you got the kill for each kill along with vid.
(J)YOU CANNOT LOSE A FIGHT. If you do then your kills are reset to 0 and you must start again.

I chose them because they were fun to fight, difficult to kill, had a great duel boxing pilot that was rather skilled, are experienced with war and not too numerous. They're also pretty much high sec around the homebase. I have very good intel on them. So in short a good challange that'll make for good fights and good vids.

And the hulk pod was a request, I undocked in pod, asked them to send me back to Kehour. GFYS.

Gee i Guess UCAM was the target, oh well no hard feelings against the contestants. i guess we need to get the hulk/orca fleet out to kill and pod a few more... and we will not make this easy for the people that trying, even harder than what Infinity Ziona experianced when he had a 6 week long dec (iirc) that he got a grand total of 8 kills vs 13 losses (from whats posted).

on a more official stance UCAM are not a willing participants in this, tho we will stand and figth.

btw can i join if there is any free slots ? =P

I'm actually surprised two Rabbits were willing to sign into your contest Ifinity... After all you did scam at least one of the members of The White Rabbits for what was it 10 million isk, so that you'd come out and 1 v 1 against Kahan in our alliance?

I hope your found a nice station to use for a tank during this contest of yours, cause you can bet we'll be watching for you :D and all you contestants, you do know he's gonna stay in station during the whole thing, if at all possible just to be safe...
