First of all, cans and containers don't work well for organizing one's junk in stations. They are seriously limited, and I don't believe we should concentrate on trying to fix them to enable features beyond their intented use.
Instead, allowing pilots to rent further hangars would be ideal.
As a combat pilot, I would really enjoy 3 fully functional items hangars. One for my combat fittings, a second for dropping loot for sorting, and a third waiting to be sold items. |

I'd be willing to pay 10-20 million ISK per hangar per month. Although you can just form a corp and rent an office for near that price. |

Doesn't work for people already in a corp and alliance, and no corporate hangars are not even worth mentioning here. This should be fairly easy to implement (let me do it). |

What could work, is if the personal hangars could be devided like corp hangars. Let us create up to 7 tabs, and each station would be setup in the same way. Using containers just doesn't work well as you cannot see items from the Asset window. |

This. Would make things a whole lot easier and it'd also mean we could search for items (which is currently a bit hard if they are inside containers). |

this sounds like a nice idea, but how would you make something from the mess your asset window will become? |
