on the one hand this is a good resolution however, the explanation for it strains credulity 1. why were you unaware that kenzoku was a longstanding pet alliance? this is hardly 'news' and alliances have born-on-dates 2. when were all these other 'permissable' name changes? what makes it 'ok' to change a name? we have lots of anecdotal responses from players saying that namechanges were denied for a variety of reasons, yet few (if any) well-known cases where voluntary namechanges were allowed. seeing the hard data on # of changes vs # of denied changes would allow us to stop speculating and focus on actual numbers 3. what is the actual policy on name changes? what differentiates a legal name-change from an impermissible namechange? la la~ |
