In the last 3 days, I have seen 4 separate posts all commenting on the fact the Devs use to have Jovian pics (don't make me link them in this thread!).
I request, NO demand - that CCP allow their devs to generate and use Jovian pictures again!
All in favour - discuss, (TomB, you know you want to!).
All opposed - identify yourselves as trolls by saying something senseless, so we can laugh at you.
STANDARD DISCLAIMER - the Op is specifying opinion only, not intended as a whine, rather intended merely to generate discussion, possibly a blue bar, indicating some Dev has responded to the thread - NO YOU CAN'T HAVE MY STUFF! |

I Agree Bring back jovian dev chars. And for the love of god ccp start doing anything with the joves they have been ignored by ccp for way to long. |

.. since at least the end of Aurora. Kind of gives Aurora purpose in hindsight doesn't it? |

I'd like to see more Jovian interaction in general...it would be nice to have isolated contact with them on some level.
I can understand why the Devs want them to remain mysterious and whatever. But we hardly ever see any mention or evidence of them in-game. Maybe they can use them as a plot device for the next expansion?

Well you're in luck as there are a couple of Jove agents that give missions. Well they look Jove and give Jove standings.

It only seems that way because they are virtually ignored by CCP. But believe it or not, the Jovians have been a part of the EVE storyline since before launch. |

I'm fairly sure there's probably a reason the Jovian dev avatars were removed, but I've yet to see them state why.
Have they said so anywhere? Or is it just something internal they've kept to themselves? I'll miss the sickly looking creepers :\ |

Fair enough. Not to be blunt, but consider the question of whether a bunch of CCP empoyees, say half the company who agree, were to all post in this thread showing support. Wouldn't that tick of the other half of CCP who disagree .. or at least the ones wielding the reigns of power who ordered the Jove pics gone in the first place  I'm just a player .. I can say almost anything in these forums (as long they conform to the rules of the forum) .. and get away with it ... .. CCP can't touch me  What do I know .. I'd love to have RP events again.
Sleepers discover wormholes and start farming us for materials. Then Jove come along to help us poor suckers out.
Can you imagine the brouhaha that would arise if Sleepers were to start farming CNRs in Dodixie? Then it turns out that they're desperately short on biomass *cue Twilight Zone music*
But yes, I'd like to see more involvement in the game by the makers. Kinda like dungeon masters in D&D get to play NPCs all the time and wreak havoc upon their hapless victims MUHAHAHAHA!
